An IT company in Chennai has made major changes to increase staff morale and output. The company named, Team Detailing Solutions has given away 28 automobiles and 29 bikes to its hard-working staff as a lavish Diwali present. Top models from well-known automakers including Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and Mercedes-Benz were among the stunning list of cars. This was an attempt to recognise the dedication of the 180 highly trained workers at the company, many of whom were from low-income families.
Managing Director Sridhar Kannan stressed on the importance of recognising employees’ contributions through performance-based rewards. He told Vartha Bharati, a Kannada daily newspaper, “We wanted to show our appreciation for their (employees) tireless efforts in driving the company’s success. We believe our employees are our greatest assets. Our employees have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication, and we are proud to recognise their achievements.”
The company has previously gone above and above to honour its staff members. Two senior staff received automobiles as gifts from the corporation in 2022. Kanaan explained, “We select the candidates who are highly motivated and the concept of buying a car or a bike is like a dream for them.”
In addition to these gifts, the firm has increased its financial assistance for employee weddings, raising the support from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh this year.
“The management credited the Diwali bonus into the workers’ accounts within 24 hours of the final rites for our revered leader. Receiving this bonus during such a sad time has made the workers even more emotional,” he said.
