Nestle Appoints Former Amazon India Head Manish Tiwary To Lead Its India Operations

Suresh Narayanan is set to retire in July 2025

In July 2025, Suresh Narayanan, the current MD and chairman of Nestle India, will retire.

After a "illustrious career of 26 years with Nestle Group," Narayanan will take a "well-deserved retirement" at the close of business hours on July 31, 2025, according to the packaged-food major's BSE filing.

The filing further claimed Manish Tiwary, will take over the job as the MD of Nestle India effective from August 1, 2025.

At present Tiwari is a director at Amazon Digital Services and More Consumer Brands. He will step down from his position as a director on October 30, 2024. 
“Manish Tiwary is currently a director at Amazon Digital Services Private Limited and More Consumer Brands Private Limited, and he will step down from his directorship on 30th October 2024. Manish has no relationship with any Director of Nestlé India Limited,” said Nestle India.

He was the Country Manager of Amazon India before taking on his current role. After working for Unilever for 20 years in a variety of sales, marketing, and general management capacities in India, the Gulf, and North Africa, he joined Amazon in 2016.
