In a challenging situation, Balakrishnan led the launch of Acer India’s D2C website during the Covid-19 pandemic, which became the largest online store for Acer in APAC and the second largest worldwide within two years. To address the challenges, he implemented a modern CRM system, conducted surveys and gathered feedback and introduced robust analytics to optimise marketing strategies. By utilising cost-effective digital marketing and adopting an agile methodology, the team was able to adapt to challenges swiftly, ensuring a successful launch and sustained growth.
Balakrishnan believes that technology is essential for enhancing productivity and efficiency in teams and organisations.
