Abhishek Tiwary has returned to KPMG, where he brings a wealth of expertise following his tenure as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Tech Mahindra.
With over two decades of global HR leadership experience, he will be assuming the role of Global HR Head for KPMG Delivery Network (KDN), effective from 8 July and will be based out of New York, sources told BW People.
According to sources, KDN will essentially shape the future of how KPMG delivers services for clients and member firms around the world.
The reason for this transition is still unknown.
His journey back to KPMG follows a notable career trajectory, having previously spent over a decade at KPMG Global Services (KGS) and subsequently transitioning to key roles within KPMG US.
Tiwary served at KPMG Global Services (KGS) for over a decade from 2008 till 2019. He joined as the Associate Director- HR, moving up the ladder as the Director- HR, to finally assuming the role of CHRO in 2016. He then transitioned into a new role at KPMG US, where he served as the Executive Director- HR for four years till 2023.
During his tenure at KPMG, he demonstrated his expertise in strategic HR management, talent transformation, leadership development, and more. His strategic acumen extends across global enterprises, where he has overseen HR functions through periods of significant growth and transformation.
Prior to KPMG and Tech Mahindra, he held leadership positions at prominent firms including TCS, Amdocs and Convergys.
