Snapchat Rejigs Leadership In India

The company has appointed Lekshmi Geetha as Head of People for India, Uthara Ganesh as Head of Public Policy for India and South Asia, and Rashmi Dastidar as Head of Integrity and Compliance for APAC & EMEA

Snapchat has announced several key leadership appointments, including a new Head of People for India. Other significant appointments include the Head of Public Policy for India and South Asia, the India Agency Head, and the Sales Head, among others.

Lekshmi Geetha has been named Head of People for India. She brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Netflix and Disney, where she focused on driving organisational success through effective people management.

Additionally, Snapchat appointed Uthara Ganesh as Head of Public Policy for India and South Asia. Uthara previously led public policy efforts at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon. She also served as Public Policy Lead to Rajeev Chandrasekhar from 2014 to 2017 and was a LAMP Fellow in 2010-11.

Rashmi Dastidar, now Head of Integrity and Compliance for APAC and EMEA, brings 17 years of risk and compliance experience from her time at WhatsApp (Meta), Deloitte, International SOS, and Control Risks. She will enhance Snapchat’s risk and compliance practices across these regions.

Other notable appointments include Poonam Nikam as Head of Communications for India, Singapore & Japan; Saket Jha Saurabh as Director of Content, Partnerships & Augmented Reality; Chirag Kohli as Head of Growth; Amit Ojha as India Agency Lead; Neha Jolly Sawhney as India Sales Head; and Yagnesh Ravi as Ads Solutions Lead.
