Satyam Trivedi has been appointed as the chief executive officer (CEO) of GMR Sports, following his previous role as Deputy CEO & Executive Director at RSPG Sports.
Announcing his new position on LinkedIn, Trivedi expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Excited to step onto the pitch as the new skipper of GMR Sports! It’s great to see familiar faces around, having worked with many of the team members before."
He added, "I’m thrilled to collaborate with the promoter family, whose grace and genuine warmth have always impressed me. Their sportsmanship and vision are a winning combination! Ready to play a new innings with GMR Sports."
Trivedi's tenure at RSPG Sports spanned from 2023 to 2024. Before that, he served as the Head of Adani Sportsline from 2011 to 2023, where he had his longest career stint. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at CANARY from 2004 to 2011.
With over two decades of experience, Trivedi brings a wealth of expertise in Sports Operations, Business Strategy, P&L Management, Branding, Communication, and HR. He has a proven ability to deliver results, optimize processes, and build strong partnerships within the sports industry.
