The recently established Rural Command and Control Center (RCCC) is making a significant impact on improving efficiency in rural departments and ensuring timely project completion in villages across the district. The RCCC, designed to monitor the attendance of employees and track the progress of development initiatives, was launched under the guidance of Chief Development Officer Himanshu Nagpal. Its main goal is to improve rural infrastructure by ensuring that workers and key projects are monitored closely.
A dedicated team monitors attendance in rural areas, contacting employees who are absent without prior notice. Nagpal emphasised that the center's purpose is to guarantee employee presence in development blocks and ensure projects are completed on time.
Positive results are already visible: for example, through RCCC's intervention, 124 out of 173 non-functional tube wells in the district have been restored. The RCCC also tracks the presence of Gram Panchayat secretaries and ensures Anganwadi centers are operating effectively. Additionally, it engages with beneficiaries of government schemes to assess their satisfaction and resolve any issues.
