Moody’s has appointed Durga Bhavani as Managing Director and Head of its India Global Capability Center (GCC).
The India GCC boasts a diverse team of over 2,300 employees across various locations in India. With more than 14,000 employees worldwide, Moody's is a global provider of integrated perspectives on risk including credit ratings, analytical solutions and insights that empower organizations make better, faster decisions.
Located in Bengaluru, Bhavani will lead the execution of GCC strategy and local leadership objectives across all Moody’s India locations. She brings vast experience in leading global teams and managing functions that deliver high-quality research, data and analytics.
She joined Moody’s in 2006 as a lead analyst in its structured finance team in London, before returning to India to take on a client relationship and service delivery manager role. Most recently, she led analytical support teams in Costa Rica, India and Lithuania where she had responsibility for end-to-end operations.
