Hays, the global company in workforce solutions and specialist recruitment, has appointed Deborah Dorman as Chief People Officer, to lead the Group’s People & Culture department and join its Executive Leadership Team.
Dorman will lead the development of Hays’ strategic people agenda, driving forward key areas such as culture, diversity and inclusion, talent management, compensation and benefits, and succession planning. The new role is integral to the development and execution of Hays’ business strategy, encompassing all HR related topics and high-priority projects.
Over the course of her career, she has been instrumental in leading large-scale, people-centred transformation, from cultural change to organisational effectiveness, and leading-edge diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Dorman joins Hays from Sainsbury’s, one of the largest retailers in the UK, where she served as the Director of Group HR, leading significant innovation across all aspects of strategic HR. Earlier in her career, Deborah led client services in marketing communications consultancies, before successfully transitioning into HR leadership roles.
As Chief People Officer at Hays, Dorman will provide leadership on people issues, implement workforce strategies to achieve business objectives, and advance its people function to accelerate business performance.
