Denny’s has appointed Monigo Saygbay-Hallie as Chief People Officer, effective 5 August and Patty Trevino as Chief Brand Officer, effective 12 August as stated on Tuesday.

The Spartanburg, S.C.-based family dining company, which also owns Keke’s Breakfast Café, shared that Saygbay-Hallie was previously Chief People Officer at Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants. Prior to that, she held leadership roles in human resources at Sysco and YUM Brands.

“It is a tremendous opportunity to join a legacy brand like Denny’s and Keke’s, a growing brand. I’m most looking forward to helping to expand and elevate the culture and benefit the brand’s people,” Saygbay-Hallie said in a statement.

Denny’s also stated that Trevino was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at Red Lobster. She has previously held marketing leadership roles at Carl’s Jr., Outback Steakhouse parent Bloomin’ Brands, and Burger King. In her new role, Trevino will focus on Denny’s restaurants, overseeing branding strategy, public relations, social and digital marketing, consumer experience, and product innovation.

“Being part of this stellar team, strengthening our guests' value proposition, delivering craveable food, and enhancing brand love and affinity will be a true honor,” Trevino said.

Both executives will report to Kelli Valade, Denny’s president and CEO.
