Chennai Company Rewards Employees With Cars & Bikes To Boost Morale

In a move to boost employee morale and productivity, Chennai-based structural steel design and detailing firm, Team Detailing Solutions, has gifted 28 cars and 29 bikes to its hardworking employees. The cars range from Hyundai, Tata and Maruti Suzuki to luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz.

Sridhar Kannan, Managing Director of the company, expressed that this gesture is a token of appreciation for the employees' dedication and contribution to the company's growth. He emphasised that the employees are their "greatest assets" and that the reward system is based on performance and years of service.

The initiative, aimed at making employees' dreams of owning a car or bike a reality, offers the vehicles with a capped budget, while employees can choose to upgrade by covering the additional cost themselves. In addition, the company has doubled its marriage assistance fund, offering ₹1 lakh to employees tying the knot, compared to the previous ₹50,000.

Kannan believes that this gesture will enhance employee motivation and foster greater productivity in the company, which has a 180-strong workforce from humble backgrounds.
