CarGurus Names Jennifer Hanson As Chief People Officer

CarGurus has appointed Jennifer Hanson as its new chief people officer (CPO), effective 30 September.
In her new position, Hanson will oversee CarGurus’ people and talent initiatives, focusing on advancing organisational strategies, talent development and employee engagement to enhance business performance and drive innovation.
With over two decades of experience in human resources, employee benefits, and law across various industries including technology, healthcare, and financial services, Hanson brings a wealth of expertise to CarGurus. Her most recent role was as Chief HR Officer at Accolade, a growing national healthcare technology firm.
Prior to Accolade, Hanson had a notable 15-year tenure at Fidelity Investments. There, she used her legal and healthcare expertise to spearhead an early-stage Medicare start-up from Fidelity’s innovation incubator.
