Balkrishan Sharma, Joint President And Business Head Of Ginni Filaments Resigns

In a significant revelation that has caught the attention of the textile industry, Balkrishan Sharma's illustrious six-year tenure as the Joint President and Business Head- Spinning at Ginni Filaments comes to an end. He joined the company on 11th September 2017 and has handed over his resignation. His last working day will be 9th September 2023

Speaking exclusively to BW People, Balkrishan Sharma said, "It's been a journey of constant evolution. It was a period of relentless dedication, discipline and diligence. Every challenge was a steppingstone, every setback a pivot towards a new direction." 

With a rich experience spanning over 28 years, Sharma has been pivotal in diversifying GFL's portfolio.

As he concludes this chapter with GFL, he extended his heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders through an email stating, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the management and the entire team of Ginni Filaments for providing me the opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth and success. It has been a privilege to be a part of this esteemed organisation.”

In another email, the company stated, “The company places on record a deep sense of appreciation for the services rendered by him and for his contributions to the company.”

He is eagerly anticipating his transition to a new company effective 11th September, although the specific company name has not been disclosed.

Sharma has been a textile industry veteran and has previously held key leadership roles at SEL Manufacturing, Spentex Tashkent Toytepa and Vardhman Textiles.
