Balkrishan Sharma has been appointed as the Business Head and Chief Executive of Yarn Business at RSWM Limited.
Sharma resigned from his position as the Joint President and Business Head- Spinning at Ginni Filaments earlier this month on 9th September 2023. He was expected to join a new company on 11th September; however, he did not reveal the company’s name.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Business Head and Chief Executive -Yarn Business at RSWM Limited!,” Sharma’s LinkedIn post said.
In his new role, Sharma will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategies for annual business goals for the entire units of yarn. He will also manage the overall operations and marketing while outlining the company's technological vision. His role also entails the human resource function as he will be responsible for directing staff from various departments including production, maintenance, industrial engineering, quality, marketing and planning.
He will head the yarn business and will work onsite from Kharigram, in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan.

With a career spanning over 28 years, he is an expert in the textile industry. He has previously served at Vardhman Textiles, Spentex Tashkent Toytepa and SEL Manufacturing as the President Marketing.
In his last role at Ginni Filaments, he resigned as the joint president, to which he was promoted to in April 2022. He was also the business and unit head of Spinning.
