At 26, An EY Pune Employee Passes Away Due To Burnout; And None From The Company Attended Funeral

Sudden demise of a 26-year-old and 4 month old employee in Ernest & Young's Pune office today has taken internet by huge storm.

Anna's mother addressed a letter to EY India Chairman Rajiv Memani, where she explains in what in-human conditions was her daughter toiling to make ends meet everyday. She claims that the sole reason behind her daughter's untiley demise is nothing else but “excessive workload" which her daughter was succumbed to.

And to top it all, not even one person from the organisation attended the demise of their employee.
