Akhil Gupta Takes Over As New Chairman Of 360 ONE

360 ONE has appointed Akhil Gupta, Independent Director of the Company, as Chairperson of the Board, with effect from August 25, 2024. He takes over from Nilesh Vikamsey, who will complete the second consecutive term of his position as the Independent Director of the Company, on August 24, 2024, and would cease to be a Chairperson and member of the Board with effect from August 25, 2024.
 
Mr. Akhil Gupta is a Chartered Accountant and has over four decades of rich experience. He comes with extensive knowledge and expertise in the telecom sector, fundraising, and mergers & acquisitions. Currently, he is the Vice Chairman and Whole-time Director of Bharti Enterprises Limited and has played a pivotal role in the phenomenal growth of Bharti group since its inception. He has also been a recipient of numerous awards, including the ET Telecom Lifetime Achievement Award, the CA Lifetime Achievement Award by ICAI, the CA Global Achiever Award by ICAI, the CEO of the Year award at the National Telecom Awards, the CA Business Achiever Award by ICAI and the Asia Corporate Dealmaker award at the Asia Pacific M&A Atlas Awards.
