Zomato appoints Mohit Gupta as their new CEO , Food Delivery
Mohit Gupta, who was previously working at MakeMyTrip as the Chief Operating Officer – Online, has been appointed at Zomato as the CEO of the food delivery business.

Since the past one year, Zomato has been firming up its leadership team to hasten the growth of the company. ‘Better food for more people’ is Zomato's long term vision.
The company is also testing and experimenting with several products that resolve problems for affordability, accessibility, assortment and quality of food for the customers, within India as well as globally.
This will not only help the users but are also intended to support and help in the growth of their restaurant partner ecosystem.

With over 20 years of experience, Mohan has spent the last 12 years in building and running market leading travel e-commerce business in India.
As the Chief Operating Officer – Online, MakeMyTrip Ltd, Mohit did the P&L of online business, the overall business strategy of MakeMyTrip brand, product and technology planning and making sure of a profitable growth while combining market leadership in his role.
Mohit has played an important and efficient role in structuring out the marketing function, the successful IPO, headship in Holidays business and mobile first method at MakeMyTrip.
