Akriti Chopra, Co-founder of Zomato, announced her resignation on Friday. Zomato said in a statement to the exchanges that Chopra, who worked for the food-quick commerce company as a co-founder and chief people officer, had offered her resignation and will leave away immediately to pursue other interests.
Chopra began her career at Zomato in November 2011 as a Senior Manager of Finance and Operations. In September 2012, she was elevated to the position of Vice President of the same department, a role she held for more than six years. In April 2019, she left her position as Chief Financial Officer to assume the role of Head of People Development.
Reminiscing her smooth journey at Zomato, she wrote, “It's been an incredibly enriching journey for the past 13 years. Thank you for everything. I'm always a call away. Wishing you and Eternal the very best.”
