For the financial year 2025, Wipro intends to onboard 10,000–12,000 workers, including both on-campus and off-campus hires, thereby increasing the headcount to another 337 employees within the existing kitty n the first quarter that concluded on June 30, 2024. This announcement follows the IT services leader's two consecutive full fiscal years of workforce reduction.
After six consecutive quarters of headcount loss, Wipro onboarded over 3,000 additional hires.
For the upcoming fiscal year (FY26), the corporation also intends to hire between 10,000–12,000 additional people. During the company's Q1 earnings conference on July 19, Chief HR Officer Saurabh Govil said that Wipro is once again hiring after a year-long hiatus.
