The Layoff Spree Continues At Salesforce; With The Second Round Hitting At A Loss Of 300 Employees

Salesforce Inc. intends to eliminate 300 additional workers this month in addition to the 700 it eliminated earlier this year. The media report claims that the most recent layoffs are intended to streamline operations.


The corporation acknowledged in a statement that it had eliminated certain positions, but it did not provide specifics. At the beginning of 2023, San Francisco-based Salesforce reduced almost 10% of its whole workforce. Additionally, a few offices were closed. Over half of the company's employment was added during the pandemic.
