Revolut To Boost Workforce By 40% In 2024

The company now has over 10,000 employees across the globe

Revolut, the fintech company boasting 8 million UK customers and a global customer base of 40 million, has unveiled plans to increase its global workforce by 40 per cent in 2024. This announcement arrives as Revolut achieves a significant milestone of 10,000 employees worldwide, positioning itself for further expansion amidst a backdrop of downsizing and hiring freezes across the financial sector. Currently, Revolut has posted over 70 job openings in the UK alone.

Having experienced exponential growth since its inception in 2015, Revolut has swiftly scaled its workforce from just over 8,000 employees at the start of the year to surpass the 10,000 mark within three months. The company's focus remains on expanding its Sales, Customer Support, and FinCrime teams, with a substantial portion of the new positions earmarked for these areas.

Francesca Carlesi, CEO of Revolut UK, expressed enthusiasm about the company's growth trajectory, emphasising the importance of recruiting top talent to sustain this momentum. With plans to augment its presence both locally and globally, including in its home market of the UK, Revolut is poised to add hundreds of new roles across various domains, defying industry trends of contraction.

As a pioneer in remote-first operations, Revolut benefits from a diverse talent pool, leveraging its ability to hire from across the UK and beyond while offering employees greater flexibility in their work arrangements.
