Okta To Expand Workforce In India, Plans To Hire 200+ New Employees

Authentication solutions provider Okta announced plans to hire more than 200 additional employees over the next year, focusing primarily on engineering and solution development roles. Over the past year, the company has expanded its workforce in India from 100 to 300 and is targeting an increase to over 500 employees in the coming year.

"India is a crucial part of our strategy for growth and innovation. We've tripled our workforce over the last year, and now we're excited to launch a new Innovation Centre in Bengaluru," said Ben Goodman, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific and Japan at Okta. "We're thrilled by the positive impact Okta is making in India and how India is contributing to Okta's success."

Shekar Koppula, Site Lead for Okta India, highlighted that Okta India is playing a vital role in creating the next generation of secure identity solutions and addressing key cybersecurity challenges for both Indian and global businesses.
