Layoff At Saarthi AI Led to Stealing Of My Passport," CEO

The Bengaluru-based startup Saarthi AI is coming to terms with number of issues time and again. Following a wave of widespread layoffs last year in an effort to turn a profit, the corporation is said to have been withholding numerous employees' salaries since March 2023. In an additional twist to the company's ongoing problems, the CEO now claims that a former employee who was part of the layoffs took his passport.

CEO Vishwa Nath Jha disclosed that a valuable US visa was purportedly taken from his passport by a top employee. 

Jha hasn't been able to go overseas to get additional finance for the firm since then. Even though he now has a new passport, the protracted application process for a US visa remains a significant obstacle.
