Kathryn York, KFC's Chief People Officer for the UK and Ireland, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, highlighting the opportunities available for individuals eager to join a lively and supportive work environment. “We’re thrilled to be growing our restaurant teams just in time for our busiest season, delivering KFC’s signature fried chicken to more customers. These roles offer a great chance for those interested in learning and growing within an energetic, people-focused culture," said York. Beyond the seasonal hiring, KFC has even grander expansion plans. The company recently announced intentions to open 500 additional restaurants across the UK and Ireland over the next ten years, which is projected to create over 20,000 new jobs.
