Global DEI Alliance, an initiative to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and beyond, is set to build an inclusive culture in India’s corporate landscape. With a mission to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce, the alliance aims to collaborate with organisations from various industries to share ideas, best practices, and resources to become a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workspace.
Global DEI Alliance (GDEIA) is setting a new benchmark in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion practices across organisations in India. Through key engagement activities, including knowledge sessions via virtual and physical workshops, the alliance is actively-enabling organisations to progress on their DEI journey. The initiative is currently empowering its partner organisations to drive an equal work opportunity culture by providing a platform for deliberation and collaboration.
The alliance works with a mission to enable ‘change’ that will create a diverse workforce and an inclusive workplace where employees can bring 100 percent of themselves to work every day. With a focus on three key areas - advocacy, education and action - GDEIA aims to elevate India to the global DEI average, employing quantifiable metrics and championing policies that support DEI in all aspects of life. The alliance provides essential tools and resources to drive positive change and collaborates across sectors to curate and design impactful initiatives that lead to tangible solutions.
Commenting on the same, Anika Mohla, spokesperson for Global DEI Alliance said: “We think that by cultivating a community of varied viewpoints and exchanging best practices, we can accelerate progress towards a truly diverse and inclusive workplace.
Through collaboration and open dialogue, meaningful change can be driven, and we are delighted to continue growing our network and leaving a lasting impression on India Inc.”
Global DEI Alliance believes that India has the potential to reach the same level of workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion as other developed economies. By promoting a community that embraces diverse perspectives and shares successful strategies, they aim to expedite progress in this area.
