56% Organisations Have Just 10-30% Women In Leadership Roles: AIMA & KPMG In India report

Key highlights from the report. ⦁ More than 9 per cent organisations in India do not have any women occupying leadership roles. ⦁ 12 per cent organisations are sailing through with more than 50 per cent women in leadership roles. ⦁ On analyzing the aspiration level of women to reach the leadership position, it was observed that, 87 per cent women professionals aspire to hold a leadership role compared to 78 per cent men professionals. ⦁ Interestingly, while 51 per cent of organisations have achieved diversity at the CEO/CXO level, the remaining 49 per cent are yet to catch up. This indicates progress, but there's still room for improvement in ensuring gender diversity in leadership positions across organisations.
