TCS Witnesses Major Headcount Drop First Time In 19 years

According to reports, the present workforce strength of TCS is 6,06,998, and the attrition rate has fallen to 12.1 per cent

In FY24 this year, TCS witnesses a major drop in headcount for the first time in 19 years.

Recently the IT giant has added 5,454 people to its team; reversing the headcount drop. According to report of a well-known media house, the present workforce strength of TCS is 6,06,998, and the attrition rate has fallen to 12.1 per cent in the first quarter.

The company remains focused on employee engagement and development, leading to high retention rates and exceptional performance. In the first quarter, the firm reported revenue of approximately Rs 62,613 crore, marking a 5.4 percent increase from the same quarter in the previous financial year.

Further, TCS has been investing in innovation and AI, while expanding its delivery centers globally, including locations in Canada, Europe, and Latin America.
