These initiatives are designed to provide comprehensive training, accredited certification and financial support to the workers

Tata Projects has launched worker upskilling initiatives aimed at empowering our workforce and promoting sustainable practices within the construction industry. These initiatives are designed to provide comprehensive training, accredited certification and financial support to the workers, while also benefiting the company through improved site management and a skilled talent pool. The purpose of introducing these initiatives is to empower workers by giving them the opportunity to become skilled construction experts and thereby improve their employability. Through this initiative, the workforce has a chance to not just upskill themselves but also advance their careers and opening doors to higher positions and better-paying jobs.

The frontline workforce of the Construction Industry will benefit from comprehensive Work Integrated Training that offers combined hands-on experience with classroom learning, ensuring a well-rounded skill set. Upon completion, our workforce receives certificates, diplomas and degrees accredited by the Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) and Kalinga University, enhancing their credibility and employability.

For Tata Projects, the initiative emphasises sustainable site management by instilling principles of sustainability and efficiency in construction practices. The training programme aims to embrace skilled talent within the construction industry, contributing to its growth and development. Through this initiative, the company plans to achieve a skilled, certified workforce, diversity in the workforce and a skilled trainer pool. Looking ahead, it aims to create a pool of skilled foremen, a talent pool for construction supervisors, and establish a cadre for the upcoming projects. These programmes will provide significant benefits to employees' careers by equipping them with the necessary expertise to excel in the construction industry, thereby securing a more stable future.

Ritesh Pratap Singh, CHRO – Tata Projects said, “At Tata Projects, we believe that our people are our greatest asset, and their growth fuels our success.
