Tata Communications Appoints Bhaskar Gorti As New Cloud & Cybersecurity Chief

Bhaskar will take charge of the new role from July 2024

Tata Communications today announced the appointment of Bhaskar Gorti as Executive Vice President, Cloud & Cybersecurity Services. Bhaskar will take charge of the new role from July 2024 and will be a part of the Global Management Committee at the company.
With his extensive expertise across multiple functions, industries, technologies, and regions, and his focus on customer-centricity, digitalisation, and automation, Bhaskar will be instrumental in further sharpening and executing Tata Communications’ transformative digital fabric vision.

Bhaskar, who holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, brings nearly three decades of extensive experience, having held top positions at industry giants like Oracle (Senior Vice President and General Manager), Nokia (President Nokia Software & Chief Digital Officer, Nokia), Sandvine (Board Member) and, most recently, CEO and Board member at Platform9, the open distributed cloud service.
