Richard Lobo, former Infosys EVP and head of HR will be joining Tech Mahindra as the chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective from January, as per media reports.
Lobo spent more than two decades at Infosys. Tech Mahindra has committed to reorganising in order to focus on strategic areas by rejigging few roles and giving more responsibilities to the current employees, under the leadership of the new CEO designate, Mohit Joshi.
Recently, the company promoted Harshavendra Soin, the Global Chief People Officer and Head of Marketing, Corporate Services, and People Supply Chain (RMG), to the position of President of Asia Pacific & Japan. He will relocate to Australia to take over the Asia Pacific and Japan business including ANZ-BFSI, SEA, Rakuten and Telstra.
At Infosys, Lobo was responsible for creating work policies, employee policies, training and development, talent mapping, campus recruitment, organizational transformation and processes.
Recently, Lobo was appointed as the exclusive advisor of Byju’s to help transform the HR function of the company.
