Renu Vijayanand Joins TIAA As CHRO

Renu Vijayanand has been appointed as the chief human resources officer (CHRO) and senior managing director at TIAA, effective May 2024.
She confirmed her appointment on LinkedIn stating, “Excited to share about my new position as Senior Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at TIAA.”
In her new role, she will oversee strategic leadership of the India people team and focus on transformation, culture and strategic organisational initiatives.
She is an accomplished human resource professional with extensive experience in global organisations across banking, financial services and technology. She has demonstrated leadership in enabling global teams to shape human capital strategies across areas such as strategic workforce planning, organisation design, talent development, engagement, performance, total rewards etc. aligned to organisational strategy.
Previously, she has held key leadership positions MUFG, Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, Credit Agricole CIB, Lehman Brothers, Capgemini, Tech Pacific India, L&T and Lakme.
