NSDC, Ethnotech Academy & Cambridge Partner To Bridge Tech Skill Gap

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has joined forces with Ethnotech Academy and Cambridge University Press & Assessment to launch the Centre for Future Skills, an initiative aimed at providing higher education institutions (HEIs) with the necessary technology infrastructure and expert guidance in the latest advancements.

This centre is designed to help students excel in a rapidly evolving technological landscape, focusing on key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation, and Semiconductor Design.

Nitin Kapoor, Vice President of NSDC, underscored the importance of equipping young professionals with skills relevant to the future job market. He called the initiative a major step forward in India's skill development journey. He also stressed the need for close collaboration between academic institutions and industry players to ensure that educational programmes remain aligned with real-world market demands.

NSDC operates under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India.
