National Sports Meet For Transport Employees Kicks Off In Vizag
To guarantee the success of the national-level event, the RTC authorities have been holding review sessions for more than a week.
From December 6 to 8, the A.P. State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will hold sporting events for workers from all State Transport companies nationwide who are affiliated with the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) at the Kailasagiri Police Parade Ground.
On the eve of Thursday's massive event, the ground's track was being prepped. To guarantee the success of the national-level event, the RTC authorities have been holding review sessions for more than a week. To guarantee that athletes from different states do not encounter any issues, a number of committees were established. The individuals in charge of the committees were asked to personally oversee the day-to-day operations of the relevant committee.
The ceremony will be officially opened by APSRTC Chairman Konakalla Narayana at 9 am on 6th December.RTC Zone-1 Chairman Donnu Dora, RTC MD, DGP and ASRTU vice president Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Principal Secretary (Transport, R & B) Kantilal Dande, RTC ED (Administration) GV Ravi Varma, Vizianagaram Zone ED A. Vijaya Kumar and Visakhapatnam District Public Transportation Officer B. Appala Naidu and officials would attend the inaugural programme.
