NALCO Appoints Tapas Kumar Pattanayak As Its Director HR

Tapas Kumar Pattanayak has been proposed by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) to be the next Director (HR) of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a "Navratna" business under the Ministry of Mines.

It is now mandated that Pattanayak will be in charge of managing staff, industrial relations, and the company's human resources strategy. He will be directly answerable to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), and he will be instrumental in formulating the company's human resources policy as well as helping to manage and expand it. He will also become a member of NALCO's Board of Directors.
