Experts underscored the significance of aligning recruitment practices with organisational values. As AI becomes more prevalent, HR professionals are tasked with balancing technological efficiency with human touch in talent acquisition
The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in human resources is rapidly transforming traditional recruitment processes, offering both opportunities and challenges for HR professionals. This was a key focus at the recent industry event, where industry leaders gathered to discuss the future of work and innovative recruitment strategies.

AI's role in HR has expanded significantly, from automating resume screening to predicting candidate success and even conducting initial interviews. "Your recruitment values as an organisation need to have that inbuilt mechanism which protects ethics and values that you carry as an organisation, as long as those ethics and values inbuilt in your recruitment policy, I think half of the job done," Martha stated. He also highlighted the need for HR professionals to guideline managers in assessing candidates holistically: "As HR professionals, I think we need to educate and coach these line managers to focus on the attitude of a candidate along with their skill in building a horizon."

Highlighting the importance of HR, the session chair Anuja Singh, Chief People Officer, Ninjacart stated, “When you think about future of work and look at an employees' life cycle, it is from cradle to grave; or from hire to retire”
