Ashok Ramachandran Steps Down As CEO & President Of Schindler India

Schindler India's CEO and President, Ashok Ramachandran, has left the firm. He joined Schindler as a quality engineer in Australia in 2006 and performed a variety of positions inside the organisation.

In 2018, he was named CEO, and in 2019, he was named President of Schindler India and South Asia. Prior to his time in India, Ashok has accomplished business turnarounds in Schindler Vietnam and Malaysia.

“It’s a wrap! SCHINDLER Farewell! The age of 18 is usually when one "officially" becomes an adult and is given more independence and responsibilities. That’s how I feel today as I leave Schindler in my 18th year of being employed," he wrote on Linkedin.

Before joining Schindler, he worked as an operations engineer at Moran Furniture. His accomplishments include developing and coaching talent, designing and implementing strategy, sales management, end-to-end successful P&L management, and generating outcomes in a variety of markets and contexts.
