Bengaluru is where cybersecurity jobs are

Bangalore leads the country in cybersecurity job openings, accounting for nearly 10 per cent of listings, followed by Delhi NCR (4%), remote jobs (2.2%), and Hyderabad (2%). Mumbai ranks fifth with 2 per cent.

Bangalore's dominance stems from its position as India’s top tech hub, home to major IT companies, startups, and global firms. As digital operations expand, businesses in the city are ramping up their focus on cybersecurity, creating a surge in demand for professionals. Delhi NCR ranks second, accounting for 4 per cent of cybersecurity job openings, due to its status as a major corporate hub, housing numerous multinational companies, government institutions, and financial organizations. The region's growing digital infrastructure and focus on protecting critical data have driven increased demand for cybersecurity professionals.

Similarly, remote cybersecurity jobs are growing. Many professionals are drawn to the comfort and flexibility these roles offer, allowing them to work from anywhere while maintaining a focus on security. This trend not only reflects a shift in workplace preferences but also opens up a broader range of opportunities for those looking to enter the cybersecurity field.
