Inclusivity & Neurodiversity In The Workplace

“When we listen and celebrate what is both common and different, we become wiser, more inclusive, and better as an organisation.” — Pat Wadors

Of all the things we have learned over the years, the most important is an inclusive and diverse workplace culture that is fundamental for a company's success. There is no dearth of data and case studies that stamp this statement. In fact, a Deloitte report asserted how companies with inclusive cultures were six times more likely to be innovative and agile.

At a recent BW conclave, Poulomi Saha, Director People & Transformation, NatWest Group India; Megha Gupta, Human Resources Director, Fiserv and Deepak Behl, Ex - Director HR, The Park Hotels spoke about how inclusion and neurodiversity help eradicate workplaces barriers and biases, how organisations are constantly striving to engage and embrace the neurodivergent talent, how employers are being extra conscious and empathetic when dealing with different sets of talents, how companies that practice neurodiversity gain competitive advantages and how a tailored career journey for all works better.
