During the pandemic, Zypp Electric (https://www.zypp.app)India's leading EV-based last-mile delivery startup announced that it hired 1100+ personnel; including riders, executives, managers in various positions, and top management positions across the 10 cities where it operates, including New Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru. Out of which 3 senior management personnel, 19 managers in various positions, 45 executives and 1000 riders spread across these cities.
Mr. Suresh Kumar has also been engaged as the GM of Strategy & Operations, by Zypp Electric. To improve operational scalability, he will manage the data-based strategy, process excellence, and operations team at Zypp. He can astutely notice and translate facts into actions for the Organization's strategic goal, thanks to his keen eye for detail and ability to learn from figures. He had done his B.Tech from IIT Delhi in 2010 and since then, now is the maestro of supply chain with over 10 years of expertise. He is capable of wearing multiple hats, including Strategy, Planning, Analytics, and Operations. At Grofers, Pioneer Urban, and Era Group, he led enormous scale execution and established teams. He was the head of Grofer's First Mile and Last Mile Operations in Maharashtra before joining Zypp. In four months, he successfully tripled Grofers' operational skills in a challenging Mumbai market. During his time at Grofers, he had overseen several operations and supply chain initiatives. He improved the delivery network and cut the cost per order (CPO) by 37%. He was twice named employee of the year at Era Group for shortening project execution timelines by 25%.
The company plans to hire 250 more employees by the end of this financial year. The company also has seen 6 times more growth in revenue as compared to the last financial year. Zypp has been at the forefront in extending its help to support the employees during these challenging times.
