ZS, a global professional services firm, has announced its hiring plans for this financial year. The firm is looking to grow its team in India and recruit 4,000 positions across domains including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, big data, cloud technologies, data science and business analytics. Known to invest in people who are talented, creative and inventive, ZS invites applications from freshers, experienced individuals and women returning to work after career gaps.
ZS India, which has nearly 9,000 employees, plans to surpass last financial year’s (FY 21–22) hiring statistics by at least 25% while ramping up talent across functions at its three locations: Pune, New Delhi and Bengaluru. To support this goal, ZS has already issued more than 1,800 offers on campuses and onboarded more than 550 interns this year.
Recruitment at ZS takes place all year long, though the upcoming months are crucial for the firm while campus hiring is at its peak. ZS hires from some of the top e-schools and B-schools in the country. As campus recruitment begins in May, ZS plans to hire 2,000 freshers for 2023. The students selected are offered internships at ZS during their last semester. During this year’s Campus Beats, ZS’s campus engagement program, more than 1,000 teams registered to participate in hiring challenges.
Commenting on these hiring plans, Mohit Sood, regional managing principal, ZS India, said, “At ZS, we want to lead the way by taking transformative approaches to develop, engage and retain diverse people. The demand outlook for the rest of the year remains strong for us. Having expertise in India has always been critical to helping ZS remain ahead of the curve as we look for ways to expand our technological capabilities to drive innovation for our global offerings. Our focus is also to preserve ZS’s culture by embodying it in everything we do so that the same values trickle down to our new team members who join the ZS family.”
“Our culture is built on the tenets of inclusion and collaboration, propelling ZSers to make a difference individually and collectively. We are looking forward to significantly expanding our team as we grow. On joining ZS, individuals become part of a diverse, global community of industry experts, working toward the collective goal of transforming the business and creating maximum impact for clients. Our talent strategy also factors in expanded hiring pools that will include new work locations by the end of this decade,” Esha Gulati, HR lead, ZS Asia, added.
Compared to ZS’s global hiring statistics, the organization has hired more than 80% of its applicants in India in the last fiscal year. ZS recently concluded a successful chapter of its “ZS Women Ace-a-Thon”—a hackathon especially curated for women professionals with strong technical know-how in analytics, operations, engineering, data science and software development. During the hackathon, the firm issued more than 160 offers, some of which have already been accepted. These forward-looking talent growth strategies exemplify ZS’s commitment to provide its people exposure to a global network of experts and experiential learning.
