xto10x Introduces Measures On Moonlighting Policy

Imagine if employees had the option of working full-time and picking up additional projects, with the company's full support and understanding? Amazing, isn't it?

xto10x, a scaling platform for growth-stage startups (co-founded by Binny Bansal, Saikiran Krishnamurthy and Neeraj Aggarwal), today announced a moonlighting policy that allows employees to undertake other professional pursuits while working full-time.

Employees at xto10x are encouraged to explore and experiment with different opportunities to grow professionally and personally. They are required to disclose their terms of engagement in the spirit of transparency but there are no approvals required. Team members can seek guidance from their functional leaders when in doubt if the engagement leads to a conflict of interest. Rather than establishing a central committee to monitor and approve these pursuits, the company believes team members are professionals who can make decisions responsibly.

Neeraj Aggarwal, co-founder and COO said “Trust is a foundation of our team's success. Our belief is that people should be able to pursue their passions alongside their full time jobs since this can aid them in excelling at the company as well. As an employee-centric organization, we believe in creating a work environment where employees can thrive. This is yet another of our employee initiatives to build a workplace of the future.”

Neeraj further added, “As a team, we trust our members to make the right decision about what engagements to take on and to disclose if they're getting paid for them. They do not have to obtain approval for pro bono or paid work as long as it does not harm xto10x interests.”

xto10x has a high bar on impact creation for all its team members and balances this out with employee-first policies and practices. The moonlighting policy is an addition in this direction to a host of other practices such as unlimited time off, remote-first way of working etc.
