If not in the current profession, you would be?
A Hotelier. It has been a long-standing dream to run a joint where people can eat good quality food at affordable prices.

One tune you always hum?
“Ooohe, Makeba, Makeba ma qué bella”, by French singer, Jain. The song brings a fresh wave not just in its rhythm, but also in its innovative execution. It’s an all-time favourite.

One book to read when you want to motivate yourself?
Hit Refresh by Satya Nadella. His principles add a new dimension to leadership. It also displays how the right attitude and innovation can carve a niche for your business into people’s hearts.

One movie dialogue that motivates you or you like the most?
“You got a dream. You gotta protect it. People can't do something' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it.” - The Pursuit of Happyness. Not just these, there are ample dialogues that teach you life’s lessons.

The place you have never been to and always want to go?
The world is filled with immense beauty. Both natural & man-made. My Top 3 choices would undoubtedly be Lofoten in Norway for its pristine solitude under the Northern Lights, Switzerland’s lesser-known village, Epesses, Back in India, it would be Spiti Valley, where time stands still , pleasant weather.

An animal that signifies you & why?
Lion. The king of the jungle for a reason. His courageous attitude and brave steps make him the righteous earner of the title.

A Movie Character you most resemble or resonate with?
Iron Man. Highly intelligent yet humble towards life. His swag is unmatched by any other.

If your life was to be turned into a movie, who would you like to play your part?
Leonardo Di Caprio. A brilliant actor who can play any role with such flair and character.

Luck or Hard Work, what do you think weighs more in defining a successful person?
None, to be honest. I think it’s a far-sighted vision. This backed by certain amounts of hard-work is important.

One best decision you ever made?
My ever-evolving attitude led me to Chingari. It was a belief in the brand and in myself to take its potential to newer territories.

A strategy that you always use to take your decisions in Personal or Professional life?
Honesty. Quite frankly, there’s no rocket science in this. It’s a strategy that’s stood the test of time & tide. One that has enabled many kingdoms to grow.

Whose advice do you seek when in dilemma?
My wife’s. She has always been my counsellor in disguise. Guiding me and sharing the journey all through. No wonder, she is my ‘better’ half… (laughs)

What has been your biggest achievement? One thing that you want to change in yourself?
Being an integral player in the launch of some of India’s biggest OTT platforms. And now, co-founding Chingari, India’s fastest growing short-format app. They have had their share of stressing out. But, every day brings a sweet surprise. The scent of which eases the nerves.

A line said by your closed one that you never forget?
Take chances while you’re young. One bullseye and the path gets established.
