TTD To Hike Wages Of It’s 9,000 Employees
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust board authorized a large pay rise for about 9,000 of its workers during its Monday meeting.
Following the meeting at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy addressed the media, stating that all kinds of employees, including contract and outsourcing labor, will benefit from the salary increase.
The Trust Board resolved to perform 'Nitya Sankeerthanarchana' rites at the projected Annamayya Kalamandir in Tallapaka and at the 7th mile on the Alipiri path in order to improve the spiritual amenities for devotees.
The board agreed to hold Tirupati's yearly "Tirupati Birthday Festival" on February 24. This day would be included in the TTD calendar as official.
