Percepio appoints Andreas Lifvendahl as its new CEO. He will drive innovation at the software company and generate further growth for Percepio. As systems and applications become more complex, Percepio aims to further expand its leading position in the field of tracing under the new CEO.
Andreas Lifvendahl brings valuable experience from over 25 years of leading and advising technology start-ups and growth companies. He joins Percepio from IMINT Image Intelligence (Imint), where he has been CEO of the former start-up since 2012. The company provides visual intelligence for over a billion Android smartphones worldwide. Previously, he held senior positions at companies such as IAR Systems and sat on boards dedicated to the development of new technologies. Lifvendahl holds a Master's degree in Technical Physics from Uppsala University and has academic qualifications in economics and finance. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of IMINT and the Uppsala Innovation Center.
"We are delighted to welcome Andreas Lifvendahl as our new CEO," said Johan Kraft, founder and CTO of Percepio. "The complexity of embedded and edge applications continues to increase, and with it the need for tracing and monitoring internal system behavior," says Kraft.
With Percepio's Tracealyzer and DevAlert products, organizations can optimize their development productivity for embedded and edge devices. Tracealyzer and DevAlert provide real-time visibility into the complex behavior of embedded software. As system complexity increases, Percepio's embedded observability solutions become increasingly important to accelerate debugging and troubleshooting and improve product quality.
"I look forward to leading this talented team and innovative companies through the next growth cycle," said Lifvendahl.
