Obituary: Dr Prashant Rao, VP-HR of Deepak Group passes away
Dr Prashant Rao, the Vice President & Head- Corporate Human Resources with Deepak Group in Vadodara passed away on Sunday, following a cardiac arrest in a hospital where he was receiving treatment for Covid-19.
Dr Prashant Rao was an HR Professional with 25+ years of experiences in HR Business Partnering and has served with Reliance Industries Limited, Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited, Essar Steel Holdings Limited, Vedanta Resources and the Aditya Birla Group where he began as a Management Trainee in 1995.
His professional expertise extended to include Talent Management, HR Capacity Building & Certification Programmes, Performance Management, Learning & Development & Employee engagement.
Many HR leaders have expressed their shock and acknowledged the grave loss to the HR community with Dr Rao’s passing. The BW Family expresses its heartfelt condolences to the friends and family members of Dr Prashant Rao and wishes for his soul to rest in peace.
