Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the groundwork for development projects worth Rs 26,000 crore in Bastar's Jagdalpur on Tuesday. He also inaugurated the Nagarnar NDMC Steel plant.
PM Modi stated during the ceremony in Bastar, "Physical, digital, and social infrastructure are critical parameters for a developed nation." Chhattisgarh is well-known for its steel production. We are concentrating our efforts on infrastructural development. 50,000 people will be employed as a result of the new steel factory. The vision of a developed India will be realised when every corner of the country is developed," he continued. Several development projects costing more than Rs 27,000 crore have been unveiled here today."
He also inaugurated a new rail line between Antagarh and Taroki, a rail line doubling project between Jagdalpur and Dantewara, the Boridand-Surajpur rail line doubling project, the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme restoration of Jagdalpur Station, and the Taroki-Raipur demu train service.
A road upgrade project from "Kunkuri to Chhattisgarh-Jharkhand Border section" of NH43 is also on the state's list of development projects.
