Mairead Nayager was named Unilever's Chief People Officer on Thursday, taking effect on 1 June. She currently serves as Haleon's Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She formerly worked as Diageo's CHRO from 2015 until 2022.
“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mairead Nayager as our new Chief People Officer, effective June 1. Mairead is currently Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Haleon plc, having previously served as CHRO of Diageo plc between 2015 and 2022,” said Unilever in a statement.
According to a statement, Nitin Paranjpe, Unilever's current Chief People & Transformation Officer, has decided to depart later this year. During his 37-year career at Unilever, Paranjpe held numerous positions, including Chief Operating Officer, President of Foods & Refreshment, President of Home Care, and CEO of Hindustan Unilever.
