The eShram Portal has taken a step in creating a National Database for workers in unorganized sectors at a pan-India level, however, a comprehensive labour policy document to fine-tune issues like registration, accidental coverage, social security benefits at the state level is expected to bring clarity for migrant workers amid the redundant state labour laws in today's times.
