Linda Schumann Appointed as SVP - HR For Davidson Hospitality

Davidson Hospitality Group has announced the appointments of Linda Schumann as Senior Vice President - Human Resources and Carl Meyers as Director of Training and Organisational Development.

“As the department head, all people experience programmes will report up through Schumann in areas such as compliance, recruitment & retention, employee & labour relations, diversity & inclusion, performance management & succession planning, benefits & leave management, payroll, compensation, and HR technology,” the company said in a post.

“Meyers will be responsible for full-cycle talent management programming, including onboarding, training, performance and development across the entirety of Davidson’s portfolio,” the company further said.

“These roles are pivotal to enhancing our already powerful corporate culture, so we can continue to attract the industry’s top talent. We love our growing family!” the company added.

Schumann is a veteran leader with over 20 years of experience. Prior to joining Davidson Hospitality Group, she had worked with OTG Management, Pyramid Hotel Group, and Pinnacle Hotels as SVP - HR, VP - HR and Director - HR, respectively.

In his previous stint, Meyers was associated with White Lodging Services for 10 years. Most recently, he was Director - Talent Development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from Purdue University Global.
