Kinaxis, the leading provider of supply chain management solutions, has announced the appointment of three new c-suite leaders - all promoted from within Kinaxis - in product, operations and human resources, effective immediately. These new executives were put in place to continue the company’s ambitious growth goals as Kinaxis continues to set the agenda for supply chain management.
New Chief Product Officer Andrew Bell will report to President and CEO John Sicard overseeing the company’s engineering, development and product management teams, as well as the company’s continued investment in AI and machine learning where Kinaxis has more than 50 issued and pending patents. Bell has been with Kinaxis for more than a decade, most recently leading Product Management. He previously held roles at Nokia Group (then Alcatel-Lucent).
Bell commented, “I’m looking forward to expanding our product footprint, continuing to invest in AI and driving continuous innovation on top of our foundation of excellence in Supply Chain – it’s a real honour to lead this team.”
As Kinaxis continues its global scale, Sicard introduced a new chief operating officer role, appointing Megan Paterson, the company’s former chief human resources officer. Paterson will have responsibility over the company’s cloud services operations, corporate IT, corporate strategy, HR and global real estate. In this new role, Paterson will create centers of excellence that empower the company to operate with agility and alignment as it continues to expand its footprint globally.
“Our growth and success are predicated on building agility and consistency across our workforce so that we can enjoy continued accelerated growth. I’m thrilled to be taking on this new role,” Paterson said.
With Paterson’s new role, Kinaxis named Amber Pate, former vice president of Human Resources to chief human resources officer (CHRO). A former CHRO, Pate was overseeing the talent management, compensation and total rewards and will leverage this experience to take on the entire global HR remit as CHRO.
These appointments come on the heels of the company’s announcement of its new chief marketing officer, Margaret Franco.
Sicard commented, “There is a huge opportunity to deliver real supply chain transformation for companies around the world. Our advanced technology and unique methodology make us leaders in this space, and I’m thrilled to promote Andrew, Megan and Amber into these new roles as we scale to support our growing global customer base.”
Headquartered in Ottawa, Kinaxis works with many of the largest global brands, including Bose, Carlsberg, Ford, HAVI, Honeywell, Merck, Procter & Gamble, Schneider Electric, Qualcomm, Unilever, and many others. Since its IPO in 2014, the company has more than tripled revenue, and in May 2023, Kinaxis was named a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning Solutions for the ninth consecutive time.
